I Dream of Melk

Mixed media on canvas
992mm x 1995mm
$2,200

I Dream of Melk
imagines a walk through the edges of northern Austria and one’s own mind; both existing within and beyond us. A single figure, representing Mother Nature within us all, looks back as if inviting renewal. Layers of green, eucalyptus leaves, spiderweb patterns and small animals reveal a living ecosystem filled with quiet wonder. This is a perfect place.

Murder Packaged in Polka Dot

Oil & gouache on wood
635 x 635 mm
$990

Inspired by a dream, Murder Packaged in Polka Dot seductively explores femininity, attraction, identity, belonging, and fear of rejection as they become subconsciously entangled. These elements culminate in a lively chase scene: ginormous, deadly scissors propelled by a familiar feminine figure—the object of desire brandishing pain. Angst and vulnerability collide; dramatic, unsettling, yet familiar and funny. The work leans into this tension, using surreal imagery and humour to reflect the emotional tumult of attraction, leaving viewers to dwell on an ironic and suggestive motif: scissors neatly wrapped in a bow.

A Story of Mothers and Daughters

Gouache and oil stick on canvas
350 x 350 mm
$580

A woman is born with all the eggs she will ever carry; therefore, every daughter was once housed within her grandmother before her mother was born. A Story of Mothers and Daughters explores feminine lineage— women connected through time and womb. Generational trauma, as well as generational strength, grit, and love, flow from woman to woman: a beautiful, bloody mess.
